THE MEETING EXPERIENCE, EXPLAINED
Approve guests yourself or enable automatic admission. Follow waiting and approved statuses before people enter.
Everyone can speak by default. Mute a participant when needed, remove someone from the meeting or close the room. Participants manage their own microphone and camera permissions.
In Video meetings, guests raise a hand to request screen sharing. Approve the request and keep one active share at a time. Audio meetings do not include screen sharing.
Chat supports text and links and is enabled by default. Disable it during meeting creation if the conversation does not need it. Waiting-room chat follows the meeting’s chat setting.
Participants have supported local recording options. The organiser controls optional cloud recording and manages its resulting files in their private dashboard.
Choose Extend 15 minutes or Extend 30 minutes when extensions are allowed. The charge uses the joined-user count at selection, including the organiser if they joined, and the previous slot’s rate.
People who have disconnected still count once if they joined. Reconnecting does not add another person. An accepted extension keeps its agreed count and charge.
Removing someone who already entered ends their access but retains their full booked-slot charge. Removing an invitee who never entered releases only their unused reservation.
Six guests and the organiser have joined. Two guests disconnect before an extension. The joined-user count remains seven for that extension; the organiser pays.

A BETTER CONVERSATION STARTS EARLIER
Explain how the meeting will run at the start. A simple agenda and an understanding of who is presenting can reduce unnecessary interruptions without preventing people from asking questions.
Mute, removal and sharing permissions serve different purposes. Removing someone ends their access, but it does not undo their earlier attendance or the participant charge for a slot they already entered.
When extending, review the joined-user count and available credit. People who have already joined still count once if disconnected. An accepted extension retains its agreed count and charge.
MAKE SPACE FOR THE PEOPLE
The right context helps people arrive ready. Explain the purpose, give guests useful links and select the admission, meeting type and duration that support the conversation.
