FOR THE WAY YOUR DAY UNFOLDS

Communication
that grows
with you.

A catch-up between errands. A conversation with someone new. A meeting that brings different languages together. Arleyo gives you more ways to connect on web and Android.

Direct or translated. One to one or together.

A conversation can start here.

01 / FIND YOUR WAY INTO THE CONVERSATION

Sometimes you share a language.
Sometimes you need a bridge.

Choose the audio that fits the people you’re talking to. Direct and Translated modes make different kinds of conversations possible.

DIRECT AUDIO

Your voice, as you speak.

Direct one-to-one audio carries your conversation without translation. When you share a language, you can simply talk and listen.

TRANSLATED AUDIO

Hear the language you choose.

Speak in your own language and hear translated speech in your selected language. Live subtitles show original and translated text, so there’s another way to follow along.

Voice Preserve offers voice personalisation intended to retain voice characteristics. Quality is not guaranteed. Live translation can introduce processing delays and errors.

02 / LESS TO ASK OF THE OTHER PERSON

Invite a person.
Not another account.

Guests can join in their browser without an account. Share an invitation through a channel you already use and give the other person a simple way into the conversation.

  1. Choose your call

Start on web or Android and confirm the relevant audio mode and languages.

  2. Send an invitation

Share your call link with the person you want to reach.

    Your call link
  3. Meet in the browser

The guest opens the link, confirms their language and allows microphone access.

Stay in control while you talk.

Mute your microphone, choose the speaker, turn translation on or off, or end the call. Visible connection status and reconnect behavior help you follow changes in the connection.

03 / BRING MORE PEOPLE INTO THE ROOM

A shared conversation.
A shared point of view.

From audio to video

Choose Direct or Translated group audio, video or group video. Use the format that fits the conversation, whether you’re catching up or discussing something together.

Space for each voice

Translated audio groups use one active speaker at a time. Taking turns gives each person a place in the conversation and helps everyone follow what is being said.

Meetings with useful controls

Meet in Direct or Translated mode, share your screen and use admission controls to manage joining the meeting.

04 / PICK UP WHERE YOU LEFT OFF

Keep people close.
Keep the thread going.

Save contacts and their preferred languages, so the people you speak to have a place in your everyday communication.

Not everything needs a call. Direct and translated chat works one to one and in groups, giving you another way to continue the conversation.

05 / WHEN YOU’RE ALREADY FACE TO FACE

One device.
A little more understanding.

A question while travelling. A conversation in the same room. When you’re beside the person you want to speak to, a remote call isn’t the only way to connect.

Interpreter supports face-to-face conversations using one device. It offers a way to approach a language difference while you’re together.

06 / SEND WHAT THE CONVERSATION NEEDS

Your file.
Their device.

Direct Files transfers files device to device, one to one. Both people must be online, and the receiver accepts the transfer.

There is no server payload relay or archive. Network conditions can prevent a transfer, so being online does not guarantee that a file can get through.

07 / THREE DIFFERENT WAYS TO FOLLOW A CONVERSATION

In the moment.
Or something you choose to keep.

Live subtitles, local recordings and saved transcripts have different purposes. Following a call is different from choosing to save it.

FOLLOW ALONG

Live subtitles

Read original and translated text during the conversation. Live subtitles are not the same as an optional saved transcript.

Live translation ↗
KEEP SUPPORTED MEDIA

Local recordings

Supported media is saved to your device. Recording uses a visible indicator and requires consent.

SAVE THE TEXT

Optional transcripts

Save transcripts locally as a separately charged option. Service processing may be involved; local saving does not mean all processing happens on your device.

Call history is a usage record. It does not automatically mean that a recording or transcript has been saved. Those are separate choices.

08 / ORGANISE THE PEOPLE, RESPECT THE CONVERSATION

A workspace for your team.
Boundaries for each conversation.

Teams gives you a free workspace and member management. Bring people into the workspace while keeping paid communication tied to prepaid credit.

Workspace admins are not automatically allowed access to conversation content. Managing members and accessing what people say are different things.

09 / CLEAR EXPECTATIONS MAKE A DIFFERENCE

Useful tools.
Honest limits.

Live translation can introduce processing delays and errors. Give conversations room for clarification, and choose each person’s language before calling.

Server-translated audio is not true end-to-end encryption. Read the security information before choosing how to communicate.

10 / THE DETAILS THAT MATTER

A few useful answers.

Choose the tools that fit your conversation, with a clear idea of what each one does.

Does the person I invite need an account?

No. Guests can join a call in their browser without an account. They confirm their language and allow microphone access to join.

How do translated audio groups work?

Translated audio groups use one active speaker at a time. Take turns speaking so the conversation can move from one person to the next.

Are subtitles and saved transcripts the same?

No. Live subtitles show original and translated text during the conversation. Optional transcripts are saved locally and separately charged; service processing may be involved.

Does a free team workspace include free calls?

No. Teams workspace and member management are free, while paid communication consumes prepaid credit.

Why might a direct file transfer not work?

Both people must be online and the receiver must accept. Network conditions can prevent the device-to-device transfer, and there is no server payload relay or archive.
